After suffering major setbacks at the hand of some virus and a much longer than anticipated upgrade at my web server farm, I've finally got the site back under control and the updates are posting again on schedule.

Introduced new home page for the site. The rest of the site will follow the theme within the next two months.

Added the NetherReal Link of the Day on the Home Page. The link changes daily and offers some of the best of the HPL sites across the world.

Added a Search Page for the site compliments of Atomz.com. Very efficient and very well constructed. The search engine updates once a week on Mondays.

Created a new format for When the Stars Are Right... Got rid of the long list and introduced a much quicker loading frame version. If you are using a version without frame support, you can still view the long list. Also added the story from which each entry came at the end of each entry.

Began implementing a new nav bar and new music across the site, will take about a month to finish.

Created new page for The Crypt. No more frames, easier to load and navigate.

Added three new stories to the Crypt:

– Force of Change by J.B. Lee. 
– The Mines of Waard by C.B. Leonard.
– Word Made Flesh by Ben Kowalski.

Updated Frank Searight's Folks of Innsmouth series.

Updated Frank Searight's Lovecraftian Cliffnotes.

Added an exhibit by John Coulthart to the Gallery.

Updated The Works of Lovecraft with 8 new descriptions as submitted by Robert Wilde.

Update the Codices of the Mythos with a newer description of Shadows Over Innsmouth.

Updated A Sense of Good and Evil.

Updated The Deity Supreme.

Added a JavaScript enabled version of The Gallery. The new exhibits require a browser that is JavaScript capable (NS 3+ , Opera 3+, MSIE 4+). If using Netscape, requires that JavaScript is enabled.

Added story summaries by Robert Wilde to The Works of Lovecraft.

Added a new piece of art to the General Exhibit in the Gallery by Mark Unterberger.

Fixed a serious problem where the Links page shows up when the Library page is selected.

Added Jonathan Turner's story, The Curse of the Elizabeth Jane, to The Crypt.

Updated The Deity Supreme.

Updated A Sense of Good and Evil in The Grotto.

Posted an interview with Andrew Migliore, producer of Return to Innsmouth, in The Library.

Posted a review of the collection of short stories, Cthulhu 2000, in The Library.

Added a new selection to the Lovecraftian Cliff Notes by Franklyn Searight

Welcomed Joseph Cochran as a new member of the NetherReal staff (that makes two of us). Joseph will be handling the Links department.

Updated Codices of the Mythos. Fixed a CSS layout problem that occurs when viewed with Netscape Communicator 4.0+.

Added Jim Doughty's Exhibit to the Gallery. The Exhibit uses a new format, JavaScript driven, currently only available for browsers with JavaScript capabilities.

Updated A Sense of Good and Evil in The Grotto.

Updated Pickman's Ponderings. Added a new question, Who's Your Favorite Author?

Updated The Cthulhu Lexicon. Added The Crawling Chaos and updated entries for The Dreams in the Witch-House.

Added the new section, A Sense of Good and Evil in The Grotto.

Updated The Works of Lovecraft with more listings and information.

Added two poetry collections to The Crypt:

- Lovecraftian Cliff Notes by Franklyn Searight
- Dark Paths to Arkham by Ron Shiflet

Began updating CSS style sheets through site.

Concluded a much needed spelling check of the site and fixed problems overall.

Added three stories to the Cthulhu Lexicon: Nyarlathotep, Ex Oblivione, and The Cats of Ulthar.

Updated The Call of Cthulhu in the Cthulhu Lexicon to include all referenced characters, items, and places in the story.

Continue to conduct behind the scenes updates.

Added the Dave Carson Exhibit to the Gallery.

Added the Reader's Guide to the Cthulhu Mythos review to Sites of Terror - The Cthulhu on the Internet.

Added five links to Links to the Gate.

Updated Deity Supreme. Fixed the vote count on the No-Frames and Text-Only versions of the page to reflect actual votes cast.
